FABRIC Type

These are just some common fabric categories, there are actually many other fiber materials and fabric constructions that can be classified. In addition, there are many special fabrics and composites, such as waterproof fabrics, breathable fabrics, elastic fabrics, etc. Each fabric has different characteristics and uses, so you can choose the right fabric according to your actual needs.

Woven Fabrics

Woven fabrics are made of yarns that have been cross-woven. During the weaving process, the yarns are interwoven through the cross weft and longitudinal warp threads to form a flat and strong fabric structure. Woven fabrics come in many different textures and patterns, depending on the color of the yarn, the fiber level and the weave. Common woven fabrics include denim, cotton, silk and tweed. Each fabric has its own unique characteristics and uses. Woven fabrics are usually characterized by smoothness, firmness and a certain drape. TR Viscose

TR Viscose, also known as polyester-viscose blend, combines the strength, wrinkle resistance, and durability of polyester with the softness, breathability, and viscose (rayon). Commonly used in suits, uniforms, and workwear, which is comfortable, smooth and is both versatile and affordable.

Polysoft

Polysoft is a soft, smooth type of polyester fabric designed for comfort and a luxurious feel. Polysoft is made by fine filament or spun polyester, making them feel comfortable against the skin. It combines softness with durability and easy care, commonly used for dresses, tops and linings.

High Sofy

High sofy, often called Hi-Sofy, is a premium polyester fabric made in Japan, popular across Asia and the Middle East. Hi-Sofy is made from ultra-fine polyester and modified nylon fibers. It offers a soft, dry, powdery texture with excellent durability and shape retention. Commonly used for uniforms, coats, and skirts.

Polyester Gabardine

Polyester gabardine is a durable, wrinkle- and water-resistant fabric made from 100% polyester. Polyester gabardine is known for its strength, breathability, and smooth surface, it is ideal for suits, jackets, pants, and uniforms. It holds vibrant colors well and is also suitable for light outerwear and sublimation printing.

Knitted Fabrics

Knitted fabrics are made by looping the yarn on a knitting machine using needle hooks. Compared to woven fabrics, knitted fabrics have higher elasticity and softness because they consist of continuous knitted loops. Knitted fabrics are suitable for making garments such as T-shirts, sweaters, sportswear and underwear because they have good stretch and comfort. Knitted fabrics can also achieve various textures and patterns depending on the knitting method and yarn combinations.

Single Jersey

Jersey fabric is a type of single-knit fabric with a smooth and slightly stretchy texture. It is known for its comfort, drapability, and versatility. Single Jersey TC

Single Jersey TC is a lightweight, stretchy knit made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton. TC is known for its smooth face and soft back. It offers durability, breathability, and wrinkle resistance, commonly used for T-shirts and sports shorts.

Single Jersey CVC

Single Jersey CVC is a knit fabric offering breathability, comfort, and durability, made from 60% cotton and 40% polyester. CVC provides a soft feel, good moisture absorption, strength, and wrinkle resistance, commonly used for T-shirts and sportswear.

Single Jersey Fully Cotton

Single Jersey Fully Cotton is a soft, breathable weft-knit fabric made with 100% cotton. It is produced on circular knitting machines with a smooth front and looped back. It is Known for comfort, absorbency, and stretch, commonly used for T-shirts and casual wear.

Microfiber

Microfiber is a synthetic fabric made from ultra-fine fibers, usually polyester, nylon, or a blend. Microfiber is known for its softness, durability, and moisture-wicking. It offers excellent water absorption, quick drying, and non-abrasive cleaning. It is commonly used in activewear, bedding and cleaning products.

Microfiber Interlock

Interlock fabric is a type of double-knit fabric that is created by interlocking two layers of knit fabric together. It has a smooth and uniform surface on both sides and is known for its excellent stretch and recovery. Interlock fabric is often used for baby clothing, underwear, and activewear due to its softness, breathability, and durability.

Microfiber Eyelet

Eyelet microfiber is a lightweight, breathable fabric made from fine synthetic fibers like polyester. Eyelet microfiber features some small perforated holes for ventilation. It combines the softness and durability with good airflow, commonly used for sportswear, activewear, and custom apparel or sublimation printing.

Lacoste
